So it's January 25th, and I just realized yesterday that I still had my 2011 calendar hanging up at work. The pictures for the calendar were taken in our "woods" at Corporate Woods. When you look at the pictures they look like something from the Nature Channel but what you don't see is that these "woods" are surrounded by highways and right in the middle of Overland Park. So although the pictures look like they could be on the Nature Channel, but if it were an actual video, it would probably sound a little closer to the show Cops, with the sirens and all the traffic noise :)
I brought the calendar home for Sadie to practice her cutting skills on something other than her hair (4 times now, she's cut her hair! Glad we didn't try to "even it up" each time or she would be bald by now). After thumbing through the calendar I realized (probably like most calendars) there were mini versions of the same pictures on the back page.
Sadie and I cut the mini pictures out together, and our new game was created.
I put piece of double sided tape on the back of each mini picture
Sadie looked through the calendar at the big pictures and found the matching smaller picture
Sadie and I had a fun "time" creating and playing our new game!
